So I wore this outfit out to the bars in downtown LA on my sister’s 21st birthday. Thank you to everyone who wished her a happy day! I think she had fun.. haha!
I wanted to take a little bit of time to express how much this girl means to me. Shortly after she was born, I decided that I was over having a baby in the house. I told my parents that they should give her away. One day they decided to pull a prank on me. While baby sissy was taking her nap, they hid her and told me that they took my advice and gave baby Nayla away. I THREW THE BIGGEST TANTRUM! I cried and cried, “why did you do this to me” and I think it’s safe to say I learned my lesson! Over the years when we shared a bedroom, our relationship had it’s ebbs and flows (as most do).. but once we got our own bedrooms we were (and are still) inseparable.
My sister has been through a lot in life, and while I don’t think she’d appreciate me airing her business on the worldwide web, I just wanted to say I’m so in awe of the lifestyle changes she’s made over the past 6 months. She pushed her comfort zone by moving to LA by herself and I suspect that it’s furthering her career/opening doors in ways that she doesn’t even know yet. And for that, I’m the proudest big sis!
Enough sap– let’s talk about this outfit right quick. I bought this romper (linked above) from Zara on the Champs Elysées in Paris in May! My boyfriend (who I was traveling with), doesn’t have much patience for shopping! But it’s Paris.. and I told him many weeks in advance that it was a must :). He ended up buying more things than me so in hindsight I don’t feel so bad haha. Back to the romper– it’s so comfy and comes in orange and black! Plus it’s marked down to $19.99! Shoes are Aldo, also very comfy, and come in black as well.. and they’re 50% off! I paired this outfit with a Kendra Scott body chain as an experiment and ended up really liking the look! However, I think a simple pendant necklace would suffice as well.
Thanks for reading! Happy Tuesday!
